This is not available for the ESP32:<\/p>\n<p\/>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Type<\/th>\n<th>RP2350 ARM std<\/th>\n<th>fast<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>int32_t<\/td>\n<td>380 ms<\/td>\n<td>3 ms<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>int64_t<\/td>\n<td>937 ms<\/td>\n<td>8 ms<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>float<\/td>\n<td>377 ms<\/td>\n<td>4 ms<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>double<\/td>\n<td>2342 ms<\/td>\n<td>18 ms<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p\/>\n<p>Here are my new conclusions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ARM<\/strong> should be preferred to RISC on the RP2350 <\/li>\n<li>The unoptimized floating point performance is now <strong>similar to the ESP32<\/strong> and for doubles it is even beating the ESP32 <\/li>\n<li>The <strong>compiler optimization level<\/strong> makes an incredible difference for the selected test case!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When I was comparing the RP2040 with an ESP32 for audio filters quite some time ago , the ESP32 was winning by a big margin.
