Pure Data is developed by Miller Puckette since 1996 and you can find it on <a href=\"https:\/\/msp.ucsd.edu\/\">his official website<\/a> along with the official documentation and other related resources.<\/p>\n<p>I wanted to have the possibility to run <strong>PD patches on microcontrollers<\/strong>. In order to achieve this I am using the <strong>hvcc hcompiler<\/strong> that can translate a pd file to c and c++ code.<\/p>\n<p>To test the functionality, I was using this minimal PD patch which creates a 220 hz sine tone and outputs it to the left channel of the DAC:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pschatzmann\/arduino-audio-tools\/assets\/2078916\/c2e0f48e-5418-46b5-bd94-188b3b3033e9\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A detailed description on how you can <strong>create and run your own patches<\/strong> can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pschatzmann\/arduino-audio-tools\/wiki\/Pure-Data\">Wiki of the AudioTools<\/a> project.<\/p>\n<p>Of cause you need to use the latest version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pschatzmann\/arduino-audio-tools\">AudioTools<\/a> library!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pure Data (or just &#8220;Pd&#8221;) is an open source visual programming language for multimedia.
