In the last couple of blogs, I showed how to build an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pschatzmann.ch\/home\/tag\/tinyhttp\/\">interactive web dialog with my TinyHttp library<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Finally it is time to <strong>put the two approaches together<\/strong> into one single sketch to build some <strong>Audio Effects<\/strong> that can be controlled via a html screen. I am using <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pschatzmann\/arduino-audiokit\">an AudioKit<\/a> to simplify the hardware setup.<\/p>\n<h2>The Arduino Sketch<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pschatzmann\/arduino-audio-tools\/blob\/main\/examples\/examples-audiokit\/streams-audiokit-effects-audiokit\/streams-audiokit-effects-audiokit.ino\">source code can be found on Github<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you look at the source code, you can recognise that we are just setting up<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a webserver for the dialog and the REST and <\/li>\n<li>an Audio Effects chain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The Dialog<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pschatzmann.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Effects-Dialog-300x249.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"249\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pschatzmann.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Effects-Dialog-300x249.png 300w, https:\/\/www.pschatzmann.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Effects-Dialog.png 430w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>The Hardware<\/h2>\n<p>Most of the AI Thinker AudioKits have a <strong>bug<\/strong> and the microphone can not be deactivated. You you will need to use a device this does not have this issue (e.g a LyraT board), de-solder the microphones or use a <strong>Guitar Preamplifier<\/strong> or apply the correction which you can find in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pschatzmann.ch\/home\/2021\/12\/15\/the-ai-thinker-audiokit-audio-input-bug\/\">this discussion<\/a>.<br \/>\nIt is also quite easy to replace the <strong>AudiKitStream<\/strong> with an <strong>I2SStream<\/strong> and use an I2S ADC and DAC instead&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quite some time ago, I have demonstrated how to build some Guitar Effects with my Arduino Audio Tools.
