In the last blogs I presented a Versatile MP3 Player<\/a> and then a Basic Streaming MP3 Player<\/a> using my Arduino Audio Tools Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you expect a Versatile Streaming MP3 Player<\/strong>, you will not be disappointed. All the functionality related to the AudioPlayer class<\/a> which was described in the Versatile MP3 Player Blog<\/a> is still valid. In our sketch, we just need to replace the AudioSourceSdFat with an AudioSourceURL<\/a>. In order to support navigation we can define multiple URLs!<\/p>\n

The Arduino Sketch<\/h2>\n

In this example we provide the output via I2S<\/strong> to an external DAC with the help of the I2SStream class.<\/p>\n

For my tests I am using the 24-bit PCM5102 PCM5102A Stereo DAC Digital-to-analog Converter PLL Voice Module pHAT<\/p>\n

I am just using the default pins defined by the framework. However I could change them with the help of the config object. The mute pin can be defined in the constructor of the I2SStream – by not defining anything we use the default which is GPIO23<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
